The model CA98 is equipped with the Grand Feel II mechanics with wooden keys which, thanks to the 90-year experience of Kawai in the piano rope-gives an exceptionally realistic feature. The length of the keys of the Grand Feel II keyboard (from the front of the key t/m the pen of the balance beam) is longer than with any other keyboard of a digital piano. All 88 keys of the Grand Feel II keyboard are equipped with an ivory-like siege (Ebony & Ivory Touch), which absorbs moisture and gives the player more certainty through a running surface and an excellent game of play. The magnificent sound of the Kawai SK-EX concert wing forms the heart of the new CA98. The globally high standing Shigeru Kawai models are appreciated because of their bright sound and are always found on the stages of concert halls and conservatories. In addition to the acoustic piano lanken, the CA98 has an extensive choice of further sounds, such as E-pianos, Hammond-or kerkorgel, strings-or fevers, which make the musician a very varied play of the most diverse genres possible. The Dual mode allows the simultaneous play of two different sounds (e.g. wing and strings) on the keyboard, while the Split or Split mode can be used. Four-skilfully mode a subdivision of the keyboard into a left and a right section allows. With the new TwinDrive Soundboard system, Kawai has managed to provide a broad frequency spectrum directly via the song bottom. For the first time, the rear line bottom with two transducers is brought into vibration, so that no additional base speakers are needed. The result is such that the vibrations are issued just like a real piano and the display of the piano lank reaches an optimal acoustic quality. This system is based on the natural resonance of acoustic pianos and is therefore of much better quality than the principle of normal loudspeaker systems. With the integrated Virtual Technician function in the CA98, the sound board of the chosen acoustic piano, clavecimbel or E-piano lank can be easily changed via the display. For example, one can set the intensity of the resonances of strings, dampers, and sounds of sound or the sound of the recessed hammers. One can even change the pitch and volume of single individual tones and then store them at a favorite memory spot.
