Tama HS40SN Snare Standard

The new Stage Master snare drum stand with single-bracket legs is lightweight and easy to transport. It also features the universal gearless tilter, which holds the snare basket securely in place using metal plate friction instead of traditional gears, and allows the basket to be set at any angle. Because the basket rotates independently of the stand and the basket arms are asymmetrically divided chamois, it is possible to hold a drum with 8 or 10 lugs.

Tama's Escape Claws rubber cushions allow the snare drum to "float" on the basket arms for enhanced resonance. In addition, they help reduce fatigue by softening the impact of the snare drum on your arms and wrists. The new joint design provides a more secure fit by holding the pipe with a nylon bushing that is secured with a T-bolt. This reduces the backlash in the stand, which in turn maximizes the instrument's natural resonance.
