Meinl AETLLI Cajon Artisan series

The Tango Line of artisanal cajons has two groups of three pre-tuned metal cajon strings that extend over the inside of the playing surface for a sharp snare effect. These strings are hand-wrapped in the style of master cajon builder José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz. Rounded corners and thumb notks at the top of the front plate and resonant body optimize play comfort and sound. The 7-layer, 9 mm thick Baltic Birch body develops the sound into a full, punchy tone that radiates clarity and warmth.
