Khaya, a mahogany species from Africa, for the top and body of the guitar, was chosen because of its beautiful layer, very present and delicate highs that produce an incomparable tonal balance. The result is a warm, deep sound regardless of playing style: picking, rhythm or solo. The cutaway provides a fine fret acces for the high notes.
