The AS-907 flute is the starter model from Altus made of 'new silver'. New silver is very hard and can take a beating so that the flute will be damaged less quickly. The Altus flute has a very open and clear sound with a perfect intonation. Altus won't settle for just any flute, they always strive to be the best in the price range. This is also noticeable when you play the flute. You will immediately notice the difference between a normal student flute and an Altus student flute.
