Of course, all these copper-blowing instruments are very beautiful, but there will be a lot of sound from these instruments! So there are plenty of reasons why you want to practice soundless. An angry partner, nagging children, screaming neighbors, and name it. With that idea, Yamaha devised the Silent Brass system a few years ago. These systems are there for virtually all copper blowing instruments. Trumpet, cornet, euphonium, baritone, tuba, horn, trombone etc.
The Yamaha SB6X Silent Brass is the system for the Bugel. Thanks to the so-called pick-up silencer, the sound completely picks up and sends this to your personal studio. In your personal studio, you can control the volume, the echo, and you can even add an mp3 player so you can play with your favourite songs.
The Silent Brass systems have a lighter, smaller damper with which easy to play. In the personal studio you will also find the new Brass Resonance Modeling Technique. This technique ensures a greatly improved sound relative to the Silent Brass predecessors and gives you more options to create your own sound.
The Yamaha SB6X Silent Brass for Bugel comes with a cable for pickup-mute, a stereo headphone and a manual.
