The Deluxe Analog Delay Carbon Copy has a lot of new features to fine-tune the warm, organic sound, which has made the original the best-selling analog delay in the world. With longer delay time – now up to 1.2s – and tap pace functionality, you now have more control over your Carbon Copy repeats than ever before. The Tik Division feature, with a easy-to-read status display, gives you four different subdivisions: dotted 8ths, 8ths, triplet and 16ths. On the tonal side, the Carbon Copy Deluxe analog delay allows you to choose between the dark, mellow sound of the original and the vivid articulation of the light version with the push of a switch.
For more character and texture to your delay, the Mod switch can be switched on and with the Speed and Width controls the Chorus can be added to your taste. The additional expression connection for external control of various functions, programmable presets, and more make this the only delay pedal you need. Inside the pedal is a Line level/Instrument Level switch — which allows the pedal to be used for the amplifier or in the FX loop — and a dry Kill switch for a pure "NAT" effect that's ideal for studio recording. With true bypass circuitry, 9-volt battery power supply and MXR's famously robust construction, the Carbon Copy Deluxe is a must-have for analog delay users.
