Meinl HE-104 Darbuka Aluminium

The Meinl Darbukas are made in the tradition of the original, esoteric goblet-shaped barrels found in music from Eastern Europe, the Middle East and South Asia. Our Darbukas are made up of these holders in various metals, each metal giving the different models of their special timbre. The straps are attached close to the boiler so that they do not obstruct you while playing and it also ensures that the drum is comfortably on your leg for fine play sessions. The HE-104 Darbuka has an 8 inch synthetic sheet with Meinl logo that allows you to easily produce bright 'branch' sounds.
