The RC-500 is an ideal stage partner for guitarists, singer/songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. This allows you to create large compositions while you play with two loop tracks, microphone and stereo instrument input, built-in drum accompaniment, and effects. Thanks to its superior 32-bit AD/DA converter and 32-bit floating point processing, the RC-500 can pick up and repeat your personal sound and nuances accurately, even when multiple overdubs are played in. And with 13 hours of recording time, there's plenty of room for multiple overdubs.
The intuitive interface with three foot switches, faders and (twist) buttons can easily be learned and used by anyone. The foot switches can also control functions other than just play/rec, stop, and track select. The LCD screen shows with colours and animations what the RC-500 is doing and what mode it is in. But if this is not enough, the unit can be extended with external foot switches or an expression pedal. For even more advanced setups, it can also be controlled remotely via midi.
In addition to these features, there are other features built in to make your performance as exciting as possible. With 57 preset rhythms with A/B variations and 16 different drum sets and built-in reverb, you can put a realistic groove behind your loop that fits perfectly. The loop effects such as beat repeat, -scatter, shift, vinyl flick make your loops even more interesting and dynamic.
