Norman Guitars? If you are looking for a high quality guitar. Then you can assume that you are good with a guitar from the Norman brand. This is a guitar brand from Robert Godin's stable. From which we know the Godin guitar and the Seagull guitar. The Goddess "family" currently consists of 6 brands. Norman, however, is the line that Robert Godin started with in 1972. You can also see very much the classic characteristics in this line of guitars. For example, you can see that the tuners still have a very classic appearance. In addition, the clear “no-nonsense” policy is also visible. No craziness, just use good pieces of wood. They describe themselves as the “heritage” and “legacy” of the Goddess family. Also referred to as estate or inheritance.Read more... |

Electronics in Norman guitars.
Norman works with several systems to amplify the guitars. This differs from piezo elements to microphone elements. They work with several companies to find the best solution for the right guitar for each guitar. In this way there is a guarantee of the best price and quality. Some company names are: LR Baggs, Fishmann and Q-discrete.
Different sizes and shapes
Guitars come in different shapes and sizes. This is also the case with Norman. From Parlor to Dreadnought and from Grand Auditorium to Mini Jumbo. Norman has made a nice division within his range. So you don't have hundreds of dreadnought guitars within one brand. Only 1 or 2 dreadnought guitars of excellent quality.
Handmade guitars
You can automate a lot with today's factories. Wood cutting, gluing and so on. All processes that could be automated. This doesn't happen with Norman. Every guitar that reaches the customer is handcrafted in the Canadian factory. You will hear this back. The balance between the tones is absolutely fantastic. This with the relatively cheaper models, but can certainly be heard particularly well with the “high-end” models. In addition, you can see in the finish that the builders in question have shown an excellent eye for detail.
