This Sterling was made under license from Music Man. Although it is manufactured in Indonesia, the finishing and adjustment is done entirely in America. This means that you not only get an affordable bass, but also the same attention to detail and quality as an original USA Music Man instrument. A well-known shape with fantastic balance makes the Ray5 easy to pick up and play. It feels supple thanks to a satin-soft lacquered back of the neck, which prevents sticking. The 9v active preamp with individual Hi and Low cut/boost controls gives additional options to perfect the sound for each genre. The bridge gives complete control over intonation and individual string height to create the most comfortable playing experience possible, anywhere, at home or on stage, and for anyone, any level of experience.
