Ibanez TS808DX Tube Screamer Overdrive Pro & Booster

Just like the famous TS808 and every other Tube Screamer from Ibanez, this TS808DX also has an overdrive, tone and level control. With the TS808DX, ibanes adds a fourth dimension: the Boost function. This allows you to boost your overdrive signal a little further.

On the left side of the dial you will find a switch with the overdrive before (pre) or after (post). Post is perfect to make the signal louder so that solos, for example, get through the mix better. Also, your amplifier in this setting will be driven harder, so give more distortion. The Pre-mode sends a louder signal into overdrive, to send the pedal even further.
