Roland brings back the old Roland synths with the Aira such as the TR808/909 and the TB303. The Roland System 100, 100m and 700m from the 1970s will also be present. These were giant synthesizers, completely modular and semi-modular. The Roland System-1 is very compact but is very extensive. The System-1 is very comfortable to play on yet is the most compact Roland synth ever! **Sound from the System-1:** The Roland Syt voice 1 has in the core a four-part synthesizer with four oscillators (oscor, osc1, sub and noise). There is a large number of sound possibilities. The LPF filter is switchable in 12 dB and 24 dB mode. To filter out all extreme basses from the sound, there is an extra HPF. There is also an ADSR envelope for filter and volume. You can add the acoustics to the sound using a reverb effect. Everything from the Roland System-1 is very easy to operate.
You easily switch to plug-out mode. With the plug-out mode you can control your DAW Roland softsynths which Roland will gradually release. You could think of a software version of the SH-101. With the System-1 you can host plugins yourself. This means that you load a Roland plugin into the System-1 and then can use it without a computer.
