The AWFS580CE is part of the new Fingerstyle collection from ibanez that has been adapted in construction to the playing style and sound of the fingerstyle player. This includes a slightly shallower sound box for more sparkle, a deep crew neck connection for improved access to the top frets, and dual pickups with dual outputs.
The AWFS580CE has a solid alpine spruce top and solid Pau Ferro back and sides which provide a wonderful full sound with lots of reflection and volume. Its African mahogany neck and pau ferro neck with ebony fingerboard play wonderfully smoothly with a nice low-end action.
Its amplification system mixes 2 different microphones / piezo signals to create your perfect live sound.
