The EvH Wah pedal was developed after intensive design collaboration with legendary guitarist Eddie van Halen. Early in the process, Eddie handed over his "holy grail"Cry Baby - a standard Cry Baby adapted in the early nineties with a more vocal-like, high Q coil and a wider frequency. Amazingly, Dunlop found that Eddie's unique wah style, which mainly used the middle range of the pedal, had cut its own curve into the pot resistant element over the years, making the middle range even more defined and enhanced. The clones of his unique wah pedal give that same tone and feel with true bypass. But his double bright blue bypass LEDs and design, inspired by Eddie van Halen's black and yellow striped guitar, not only does it sound good, it also looks good.
