The brand Recording King

The Recording King brand was created in early 1920 as a home brand for the American department store Montgomery Ward. Mass production did not exist yet and all the instruments were hand-made. The highlight was in the 1930s when the development in the field of resonators, banjo's, and other folk instruments made a big step forward.
