This Sterling is made under license from Music Man. It is indeed manufactured in Indonesia, but the finishing and adjustment is done entirely in America. This means that you not only get affordable bass, but also the same attention to detail and quality as an original USA Music Man instrument. A familiar shape with fantastic balance makes the Ray5 easy to pick up and play. It feels smooth thanks to a satin-soft lacquered back of the neck, which prevents sticking. The 9v active preamp with individual Hi and Low cut / boost controls gives additional options to perfect the sound for any genre. The bridge gives complete control over intonation and individual string height to create the most comfortable playing experience possible, anywhere, at home or on stage, and for anyone, any level of experience.
