The GT-1000 is the most advanced amp/effect processor of BOSS. He's built for uncompromising sound performance. To begin with, this is the first multi-effect processor for guitar with 32-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 96 kHz sampling rate across the line. Also, a new DSP engine is from the lot. He was specifically designed for music applications and has three times as much power than the previous generations. At its core, the GT-1000 features the pioneering AIRD technology of BOSS, for a previously unreachable musical power.

AIRD is based on the extensive Tube Logic concept behind the famous Katana, Waza and Blue Cube amplifiers. This new technology will elevate amp processing to a new level of performance, flexibility and practical employability. The GT-1000 is fully-stocked with immense expressive guitar amplifiers, which were made of piece precisely with AIRD. In contrast to traditional modeling methods, AIRD reproduces the complex interactions between all internal components of tube amps: ranging from the guitar input, to the speaker output, and everything in between.

The result is a completely interactive system that acts like a living, breathing instrument, just like your favorite high-end lamp amplifier. AIRD ensures that the GT-1000 seamlessly fits in any creative set-up, and lets you enjoy an amazing sound and response through a minimal number of customizations. By choosing from a large selection AIRD Output Select types you can perfectly tune the GT-1000 to any destination, regardless of whether that is the input of a guitar amplifier, the effects return of an amp, a power amp that sends guitar speakers, a computer DAW or a full range monitoring system.

Just as you ' d expect from a top-level BOSS processor, the GT-1000 is notoridily stunning effect-types: ranging from overdrives, to distortions, to special effects like Slicer, Slow Gear, and many others. Many effects also have the MDP technology of BOSS, which intelts intelintelly to your dynamism and play register to achieve the perfect sound. Advanced algorithms from the well-known DD-500 Digital Delay, MD-500 Modulation and RV-500 Reverb pedals are also provided, along with sophisticated Acoustic Resonance processing inherited from the AD-10 pedal for acoustic/electric guitar.

In today's musical world, musicians should be able to travel as light as possible. Therefore, BOSS designed the GT-1000 for a maximum control with minimal dimensions. Compared to other processors within its class, he offers a compact, streamlined design that is easy to wear and set up. The metal chassis is both strong and light, and features a range of freely assignable foot switches and an integrated expression pedal.

These low-profile foot switches are new and specifically developed for the GT-1000. They limit the dimensions and weight, while maintaining the robustness that the material of BOSS is known for. With the large display and the six switches of the GT-1000, the process of creating and adapting sounds is smooth and efficient. Four different Play-screen layouts provide alternative visual options for different patch features, and you can personalize the buttons for quick access to specific parameters. During editen, the signal chain is clearly displayed. It is easy to select impact blocks, adjust their parameters, and change their order.

The available parameters of some patches can be shown in layers, allowing you to see everything on the screen at once. With its ten foot switches and toe-switch expression pedal, the GT-1000 gives you extensive creative control on stage and in the studio. And if you are a power user, there are additional controls via external switches, pedals, MIDI and USB. By default, the head-foot switches are programmed to select patches, patch banks and three control assignments.

If you want, you can set the foot switches differently so you can control virtually any function, including on/off effect, tap pace, parameter adjustment, system settings, and more. The GT-1000 also features a USB audio/MIDI interface, with multi-channel audio operation for flexible computer recording and efficient re-amping. USB can also be used to customize and organize sounds with the desktop version of the BOSS Tone Studio Editor for Mac and Windows.
