The AC15 quickly became wildly popular in london's rock & roll scene and quickly grew into one of the most coveted amplifiers in the UK. With the AC 30 2x12 30 watt combo, Denney brought the familiar AC15 sound to the bigger stages. This time with 4 inputs and 2 channels each with its own character. such as a tremolo effect on channel 2. When 1960 two guitarists from Liverpool bought their first vox combos no one knew that these two gentlemen, thanks in part to the help of the characteristic sound of Vox, would become the biggest pop stars in history. The Beatles. Vox became wildly popular and has been a household name for 60 years. Great pioneers of the vox AC30 include Brian May of Queen, The Edge Of U2, and Tom Petty.
Vox has something for everyone in different budgets so the well-known tube amps are distributed. In 3 categories the well-known custom series, or the slightly more beautifully manufactured handwired models or the Limited edition models that are equipped with very exclusive parts. For the starting/living room guitarists there are several series that are a bit more budget friendly. Including the hybrid amplifiers the VTX series, VX series and the av series. These are models with only a tube in the preamp which creates a real tube feel but due to its transistor output amplifier is much easier to control in smaller space's. The addition of effects makes this ideal amplifiers for starters who want an inspiring sound in a friendly budget as soon as possible.
