The Nord Stage 3 is the fifth generation of the successful Stage series and has been brought up to date in terms of technology that is in it. For example, it has a.o. Nord's award-winning Lead A1 Synth Motor with sample playback, the Nord C2D organ, an improved piano section and extensive built-in effects. Two super bright OLED displays for clear visibility on stage, smooth transitions of different sounds and effects, more extensive split features with optional crossfade, and the addition of the Song List Mode make the Nord Stage 3 more intuitive and flexible than other stage pianos.
The C2D organ simulation features sounds modeled on B3 Tonewheel, classic Transistor organs and two brand new principled pipe organs. Two different organ sounds can be used simultaneously and the updated 122 Rotary speaker simulation is also available for independent use, in organ and piano mode. The Lead A1 Synth engine comes with a powerful and smart oscillator, with a configuration that enables extremely fast and flexible programming.
Thus, it is suitable for advanced synthesizer users and musicians with less experience with this. The Effects section includes a brand new Filter Effect, more extensive customizable parameters, an enhanced Delay effect and an apparte Reverb and Compressor for two sounds. A Master clock that sits in the Stagepiano makes it easy to synchronize all sounds and effects. This master clock can also be controlled via an external MIDI clock. Through the External Section it is possible to make other instruments part of the Stage 3 via MIDI. Also, the External Section can be used to change sounds via an external controller.
