With the CA48 digital piano, KAWAI presents a new model of the CA series. Equipped with the new GrandFeel Compact keyboard with wooden keys, 3-fold sensor technology, Ivory Touch surface and pressure point simulation, it ensures perfect control and maximum repetition. The piano sounds with Progressive Harmonic Imaging ™ technology and 88 key sampling are perfectly reproduced through the highly balanced speaker system. With a traditional design and attractive color variants such as Premium Rosewood, Premium Black Satin and Premium White Satin, the new model CA48 once again sets a new standard in terms of performance, quality and value in this price range. The CA48 model is equipped with the new Grand Feel Compact Mechanical action with wooden keys that - thanks to Kawai's 90 years of experience in piano construction - gives an extraordinarily realistic playing feeling. All 88 keys are made entirely of long wooden parts, with the white keys - to improve game control - with an Ivory Touch surface. Each of the 88 keys moves gently on a balance bar, as is known from an acoustic grand piano. Thanks to the long keys (especially the length in the front part of the key up to the balance pin), playing in the back part of the keys is simplified. The Grand Feel Compact keyboard action features graduated weight hammers, bass counterweights and a pressure point simulation. In addition, the 3-fold sensor system ensures optimal rehearsal and game control. The CA48 reproduces the special sound of the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand piano. The worldwide highly regarded Shigeru Kawai models are appreciated for their clear sound and can be found again and again on the stages of concert halls and conservatories. In addition, the CA48 also contains the special sound of the Kawai EX concert grand, which - in addition to other grand pianos - is often chosen internationally by professional pianists for events such as the Chopin, Tchaikovsky or Rubinstein competition. All 88 keys of these two extraordinarily beautiful grand piano models were recorded and analyzed in a long procedure. The unique characteristics of each individual note and the great dynamic range of both sounds allow the pianist to express his emotions… from the soft pianissimo to the powerful fortissimo.
