You should know this:

The RG is Ibanez's most recognizable and distinctive guitar. Three decades of metal have shaped this high-performance machine, aiming for both speed and power. With its hardtail fixed bridge, the RG is a precision instrument. Ibanez's thin, flat neck provides fast playability, without damaging the strong and firm feel. And with a two octave 24 fret fingerboard it has a wide tonal width.

This RG uses two DiMarzio pickups: the Air Norton in the neck position and The Tone Zone in the burg position. Both together or individually provide an emphasized bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of fast riffs, with exceptional mid-range and precise high-end articulation. They can be used in 5 ways: neck humbucker, neck connected in parallel, neck + bridge together humbucker, neck + bridge together single coil and bridge humbucker. All these combinations provide a wide range of tones, making this guitar usable in any genre.
