The American Precision Bass is made in Corona, California, and gives the exceptional tone and feel you expect from an authentic Fender – along with new enhancements that make it even more inspiring to play. The Yosemite pickups are specifically tuned for each instrument and position to create sonically versatile and musically usable sounds. Its vintage-style paddle keys and tapered tuning machines are wider at the top than at the bottom, forcing the strings down, keeping them tight for more sustain and improving tuning stability. The four-saddle bridge helps create solid voice stability, accurate intonation and increased sustain.
Its medium-jumbo frets make it easier to create wide, expressive bends that give your music a personal touch. With a "Modern C"-shaped profile that works well with almost any playing style, the neck also has a satin finish on the back, giving it a smooth and fast-playing feel. The greasebucket circuit is the unique Fender tone system that allows you to cut high frequencies without losing gain or muddying your sound.
