The "running" has become a hugely popular and well-known phenomenon in guitar playing. Roland goes with his time and has developed the most extensive running station: the Boss RC-300 Stereo Looper. This Loop Station features three stereo tracks that are in sync, each with its own volume controller and transport pedals. In addition, it features an extensive bookcase of professional effects, an extensive control panel and an expression pedal.
The RC-300 Loop Station can of course be used perfectly by guitarists, but also bassists, keyboardists and other musicians will have a lot of fun with this Stereo Looper. Thanks to the XLR entrance with phantom food, even singers, rappers and acoustic percussionists can use this Loop Station. No less than three hours of stereo audio material can be stored in the memory of this RC-300. Through numerous effects you can create your own sound with this and it is even possible to store your recorded loops via USB and import external WAV files.
The RC-300 features 16 internal effects such as modulation, phaser, flanger, transpose and voice effects. The Loop FX foot switch switches these effects on and off easily. In addition, the RC-300 has a REC/Play and a Stop foot switch. This ensures the start and termination of a recording. With the All Start/Stop foot switch you are able to start and stop all the recorded tracks at the same time. In total, three loops or recordings can be played at the same time. The RC-300 Loop Station has a very smart metronome. He can make a certain rhythm and at the same time you can make recordings. For each style of music there are rhythms available such as pop, rock, Latin and hip hop. The Loop Quantize lets you cut and edit your loops.
